*DJ Moore TSX Player News Log
03/06/18 - 2018 NFL Combine Winners: D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland...Entering the Combine as the No. 2 wide receiver (behind Calvin Ridley) on my draft board, Moore came in taller and faster than expected. Listed at 5-11 on the Maryland roster, he measured at 6-feet exactly and turned in a blazing 4.42 40-yard dash. Moore also impressed in the vertical (39.5 inches), broad jump (11 feet), three-cone (6.95 seconds) and short shuttle (4.07 seconds). He went from a second-round pick to a possible first-round pick. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
03/03/18 - 2018 NFL Combine, Saturday: Maryland's D.J. Moore entered the NFL Scouting Combine as my second-ranked receiver prospect in the draft. And he'll leave the Combine as my No. 2 receiver prospect in the draft, behind Alabama's Calvin Ridley. Except now, the Moore bandwagon is much more crowded. After Moore measured at 6-feet (a full two inches taller than expected), he continued to impress during the athletic testing drills on Saturday. He finished fifth among wide receivers in the 40-yard dash (4.42 seconds), second in the vertical (39.5 inches) and first in the broad jump (11 feet). When I talked with Moore on Friday, he predicted "anything under 4.5" for his 40-yard dash, and he certainly hit that goal. His lack of height and speed were the main questions entering this week. "Some of the questions are going to be answered," Moore said. "I answered a big one with my height. I'm just going to keep on answering them and check off the boxes." Size? Check. Speed? Check. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
03/03/18 - 2018 NFL Combine, Saturday: A three-year starter at Maryland, Moore inherited the No. 1 jersey from Stefon Diggs and developed into the "X" receiver in the offense. He has impressive college production considering the constant quarterback issues for the Terrapins, catching a pass from eight different quarterbacks in the past three years. Moore set a school-record with 80 catches in 2017 and became just the third player in program history to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards in a season -- and the first since Torrey Smith in 2010. Resume and production? Check. A balanced, explosive athlete, Moore is a tough assignment for any cornerback, considering his speed to stretch the field and yards-after-the-catch skills to take simple underneath targets and turn them into big plays. He has an average catch radius, but he doesn't play small and his football character and work ethic, especially in the weight room, are universally praised. Overall, Moore has a NFL skill-set with his speed, physical presence and instincts. His film gives off a Steve Smith vibe. Tape? Emphatic check. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
03/03/18 - 2018 NFL Combine, Saturday: After measuring in bigger and more explosive than expected, Maryland wide receiver DJ Moore has been one of the bright spots of the Combine. Throughout most of the Friday's workout, Moore also looked the part of a potential top 40 pick. However, he did fail to track and haul on a couple of passes thrown over his shoulder, including one particularly well-thrown post-corner by Shimonek. With so much of his production at Maryland derived from quick screens and underneath routes, scouts will be looking for improvement by Moore in this area at his Pro Day. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftscout.com
02/27/18 - 2018 NFL Combine: Prospects Who Need to Measure Up: DJ Moore, WR, Maryland...Listed at 5-11 by the Terps, Moore is closer to 5-10 and might be a hair below that. Height might be the only thing keeping Moore from the first round. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
12/19/17 - Maryland record-breaking receiver DJ Moore will skip his senior season to enter the NFL draft. Moore was selected first-team All-Big Ten after setting a school record with 80 catches for 1,033 yards. He also scored eight touchdowns. Moore ends his Maryland career with 146 receptions, fifth-most in school history. His 17 TD catches rank fourth, and he is only the fifth Terrapin to amass more than 2,000 yards receiving. Maryland coach DJ Durkin says, "We'll miss him as a member of our team, but could not be more proud to have him represent us in the NFL." Moore excelled in 2017 even though Maryland used five quarterbacks and finished 4-8. He says, "I have had an incredible three years playing for the Terps and I will truly miss playing in front of our fans." - AP College Football
12/15/17 - 2017 ALL-BIG TEN FIRST TEAM (COACHES): WR DJ Moore, Maryland,...A First Team All-Big Ten honoree, Moore led the league with a single-season school record 80 receptions and 1,033 receiving yards. The Philadelphia native is one of just three receivers in the country with 80 receptions, 1,000 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Moore ranked seventh nationally in total receptions and has a catch in 33 consecutive games. The junior is the first wide receiver from a Power 5 conference to record a 1,000-yard season in which no quarterbacks on the roster threw from at least 1,500 yards since North Carolina's Hakeem Nicks in 2008. Moore ended his junior season with 146 career catches, a mark that ranks fifth in Maryland history. His 2,027 career receiving yards makes him just the fifth player in Maryland history to eclipse the 2,000 career receiving yards plateau. - Maryland Football
11/30/17 - 2017 BIG TEN RICHTER-HOWARD RECEIVER OF THE YEAR (COACHES/MEDIA): DJ Moore, Maryland...Also a First Team All-Big Ten honoree, Moore led the league with a single-season school record 80 receptions and 1,033 receiving yards.

Also a legitimate red zone threat, Moore's eight touchdowns this season ranks tied for fourth in Maryland's single-season history. He also ranks fourth all-time at Maryland with 17 career touchdown catches. Moore is Maryland's first Big Ten individual award winner since William Likely III was named Rodgers-Dwight Return Specialist of the Year in 2015. - Maryland Football

10/21/17 - WR DJ Moore was coming off career highs with a 12-catch, 210-yard performance against Northwestern. Wisconsin held Moore to three catches for 44 yards.
10/16/17 - Former Jets scout Jeff Bauer was highly impressed by Maryland junior WR D.J. Moore, writing that you "have to beware where this kid is" at @ITLScoutsNotes. - Insidethe League.com
