Draft Scout Trevor Davis News
12/01/18 - WR Trevor Davis (hamstring) was placed on reserve/injured by the Packers Saturday (Dec. 1). While he would normally eligible to be designated for return and begin practicing after missing at least six weeks and playing in eight weeks, the first game he would be available would be the Super Bowl.
11/28/18 - WR/KR Trevor Davis, who spent most of the season on injured reserve before being activated in Week 11, will miss this week's game after aggravating his hamstring on Sunday at Minnesota.
Davis is hoping he'll be able to play again this season. He said, "It's understanding triggers before they happen, so I kind of saw it coming so I laid off it a little bit. It's feeling better than usual after certain things like this but we'll have to see."
11/16/18 - WR Trevor Davis was activated from reserve/injured; designated for return by the Packers Thursday (Nov. 15). Davis, a 6-foot-1, 188-pound third-year player out of the University of California, was placed on injured reserve on Sept. 11. The former fifth-round pick has played in 27 regular-season games and two postseason contests for the Packers. Davis was one of only three players in the league (Pharoh Cooper and Andre Roberts) to rank in the top 10 in the NFL in both punt-return average (No. 2, 12.2 yards) and kickoff-return average (No. 9, 22.7 yards) from 2016-17.
11/07/18 - WR Trevor Davis was designated for return from reserve/injured by the Packers Wednesday (Nov. 7). He is eligible to be activated to play this week, but can practice for a maximum of 21 days. Davis was the NFL's second-ranked punt returner last season. Green Bay is in the bottom six in the league in kickoff returns and punt returns this season. He can make his season debut next Thursday night at Seattle. "I feel great. I've felt great for a while now. It's good to get back out there, good to play and finally knock the dust off."
09/12/18 - WR Trevor Davis was placed on reserve/injured by the Packers Tuesday (Sept. 11). He is eligible to be designated for return and begin practicing after missing at least six weeks and can play after eight weeks.
