12/12/18 - S Eric Berry was limited in practice on Tuesday, and the Chiefs remain noncommittal on whether he will play Thursday night against the Los Angeles Chargers.
His return this week would allow additional rest before the Chiefs play again in Week 16 at Seattle. Berry was listed as questionable on Wednesday's injury report.
12/10/18 - SS Eric Berry, out with a heel injury, could get his first playing time since Week 1 of the 2017 season against the Chargers on Thursday. "We will just see how it goes these next couple of day," said Andy Reid. "But there's a chance."
12/03/18 - S Eric Berry worked with the first team defense in a limited role in his return to practice and appears close to returning to the line. The Chiefs are targeting either this week's game against Baltimore or a Thursday night game in Week 15 against the Chargers for his season debut. Berry hasn't played this season due to recurring heel pain.
11/28/18 - S Eric Berry participated in practice on Wednesday for the first time since August. "We'll see how he does and we'll ease him back into it," Chiefs coach Andy Reid told reporters prior to Wednesday's practice. "The communication has been great. ... We'll see how he does. He and I will talk. We'll talk with the (doctor) and the trainers." Reid said that he is not certain if Berry will play for the Chiefs (9-2) in their road game against the Oakland Raiders (2-9) on Sunday (4:05 p.m. ET).
11/16/18 - S Eric Berry did not practice on Thursday, making it likely his season debut will not come until after the bye week and no earlier than Week 13. Berry hasn't not practiced with the club since Aug. 11 due to a heel injury and hasn't played in a game since Week 1 of the 2017 season.
