12/31/18 - S Eric Berry sat out the season finale against Oakland after his chronic heel pain flared up late in the week. The club hopes that an additional week of rest will allow Berry to return for the Divisional Playoff game Jan. 12.
12/26/18 - S Eric Berry played 69 snaps Sunday night against Seattle, and appears close to returning to full duty for the team's postseason run. It's unclear if the Chiefs plan to play Berry for the full game during the season finale against Oakland or continuing limiting his snap count.
12/24/18 - S Eric Berry played 69 of the team's 80 defensive snaps, but he sat out the team's final defensive stand as Seattle marched 75 yards in eight plays for the game-winning touchdown. The Chiefs have ramped up Berry's playing time over the last two games in preparation for full duty during the postseason.
12/12/18 - S Eric Berry was limited in practice on Tuesday, and the Chiefs remain noncommittal on whether he will play Thursday night against the Los Angeles Chargers.
His return this week would allow additional rest before the Chiefs play again in Week 16 at Seattle. Berry was listed as questionable on Wednesday's injury report.
