 Draft Scout Corey Peters News
10/03/18 - DT Corey Peters (elbow), WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) and CB Bene' Benwikere (neck) did not practice Wednesday. According to coach Steve Wilks, the three are day-to-day but he fully expects them to be available Sunday against the 49ers.
09/26/18 - DT Corey Peters (elbow) suffered a minor injury in the Bears' game and did not practice on Wednesday. Coach Steve Wilks said he just wanted to give him an extra day to recover.
12/04/17 - DT Corey Peters' emergence as a leader in the locker room was one of the biggest reasons why the Cardinals elected to sign him to a three-year contract extension last week. "Corey Peters is a player to me that is constantly under the radar," general manager Steve Keim said. "For me, he's a guy that not only leads in our locker room, but he plays an important role in our defense, whether it's playing the 1 (technique), the 3 (technique). He can bounce around. He's got some pass-rush ability from the interior."
12/01/17 - DT Corey Peters signed a three-year contract extension with the Arizona Cardinals through the 2020 season, the team announced Friday. Peters, 29, was in the final year of a three-year deal signed in 2015. The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Peters has been with the Cardinals the past three seasons after joining the team as a free agent in 2015.
11/22/17 - NT Corey Peters (high-ankle sprain) is making improvements, but it's unlikely he will play Sunday against the Jaguars after missing last week's game in Houston. Peters should be able to play in another week against the visiting Rams.
