11/21/18 - TE O.J. Howard was placed on injured reserve, the team announced. Howard sustained ankle and foot injuries when he was tackled from behind in the second half of Sunday's 38-35 loss to the New York Giants. Cameron Brate will see an uptick in snaps in the absence of Howard, who recorded 34 receptions for 565 yards and a team high-tying five touchdowns. The 24-year-old's receive yards rank fifth among tight ends while his touchdown total is tied for the third-most.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the severity of the injury that Howard sustained to his left knee in the first half of the Buccaneers' 48-10 drubbing by the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Howard has recorded 11 receptions for 222 yards and a touchdown in four games this season for Tampa Bay (2-2), which has dropped two straight contests. The Buccaneers have a bye in Week 5 before returning to visit the Atlanta Falcons.
