08/27/18 - CB Bryce Jones was signed by the Texans Tuesday (Aug. 21).
10/07/14 - Boston College junior cornerback Bryce Jones has been dismissed from the football team for violating team rules, coach Steve Addazio said Friday. The school did not specify details of the violation. Jones was tied for fourth on the Eagles with 20 tackles. He also had an interception in last week's loss to Colorado State. He has started 18 games in his BC career, making 97 tackles, including seven for a loss. He recovered three fumbles in 2013, when he was a sophomore. Boston College is off this weekend and plays at North Carolina State on Oct. 11. - AP Sports
09/11/13 - Scouting the Boston College pass defense: Sophomore CB Bryce Jones has been a real story through the first two weeks of the season. Last week, after an interception in the opener, he had another pick, a fumble recovery, two solo tackles and a pass breakup while earning ACC defensive back of the week honors (despite getting beaten for Wake's lone touchdown). The Eagles had two more sacks in the win over Wake Forest. That gave the defense six in the first two games, already matching the total of last year's 2-10 team. Coordinator Don Brown, hired because of his aggressive style, has these guys blitzing, and the defense has also responded with four interceptions. Cody Kessler has been named as USC's No. 1 quarterback, a role he had been sharing. - The Sports Xchange
09/09/13 - ACC WEEK 2 DEFENSIVE BACK OF THE WEEK: Bryce Jones, Boston College, Jr., DB, 6-1, 166, University Heights, Ohio,...Jones finished the game with two solo tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery in Boston College’s 24-10 ACC home victory over Wake Forest on Friday night at Alumni Stadium. Jones interception halted a three-play, 35-yard drive that started with 1:56 left in the half. - ACC football
