Draft Scout *Todd Gurley News
12/31/18 - RB Todd Gurley, who missed the last two games with knee soreness, will continue to rehabilitate his knee and should be ready for the Rams' divisional-round playoff game Jan. 12.
12/28/18 - RB Todd Gurley will be held out of Sunday's regular-season finale against the San Francisco 49ers because of left knee injury in hopes that he will be healthy for the playoffs.
Gurley also missed last week's game against the Arizona Cardinals, but recently-signed C.J. Anderson stepped in and rushed for 167 yards on 20 carries. Gurley will finish the regular season with 1,831 yards from scrimmage, including 1,251 rushing, and 21 touchdowns.
12/24/18 - RB Todd Gurley could be a bystander for the second straight game, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Monday. Gurley missed his first game since his rookie season on Sunday in the Rams' 31-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals. The Pro Bowl running back, who is dealing with inflammation in his left knee, participated in pregame drills before the team elected to err on the side of caution.
12/24/18 - RB Todd Gurley is expected to be day-to-day after missing the Arizona Cardinals game with inflammation in his left knee.
12/23/18 - RB Todd Gurley was ruled inactive for Sunday's game against the host Arizona Cardinals. Gurley, who is dealing with inflammation in his left knee, was held out for a series in the third quarter of last week's 30-23 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He has not practiced all week. With Gurley inactive, newcomer C.J. Anderson figures to lead the Rams' backfield with second-year pro Justin Davis serving in a change-of-pace role for Los Angeles (11-3). The Rams, who have clinched the NFC West, face the division-rival Cardinals (3-11) and San Francisco 49ers (4-10) to wrap up the regular season.
