12/17/16 - 2016 AFCA NATIONAL DIVISION II FIRST TEAM ALL-AMERICAN (COACHES): OL Jordan Morgan, 6-4 320, R-Sr., Kutztown (Pa.), Jim Clements, Philadelphia, Pa. (Parkway Northwest),...Morgan is one of just two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) players to make the First Team along with wide receiver Garry Brown from California (PA), while Slippery Rock defensive lineman Marcus Martin and Mercyhurst running back Richie Sanders were named to the Second Team. Sanders made the Second Team as an all-purpose back. The redshirt-senior offensive tackle, Morgan becomes the fourth player in KU history to be an All-American more than once and the first to be named to the AFCA First Team twice. Morgan adds to his incredible list of career honors with the All-American nod being the latest. He was recently tabbed as the Gene Upshaw Division II Lineman of the Year, becoming the second player in PSAC history to win the award. The team captain also became the first player in PSAC history to be named the PSAC Offensive Athlete of the Year and made the All-PSAC East First Team for the third consecutive season. - Kutztown Football
11/17/16 - 2016 PSAC EASTERN DIVISION OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR (COACHES): Jordan Morgan, Kutztown...Morgan is the first offensive lineman to win the award in PSAC history. The Golden Bears finished with season with a spotless 7-0 mark in divisional play and appeared in the PSAC Football Championship against No. 6 California. Morgan is the fifth player from KU to garner the award and the first since 2011. He is a two-time first-team all-conference selection and will be playing in the Reese’s Senior Bowl Jan. 28, 2017 in Mobile, Ala. - PSAC Football
