 Draft Scout Anthony Miller News
03/02/18 - 2018 NFL Combine, Friday: Memphis wide receiver Anthony Miller suffered a right foot injury in the bowl game, forcing him to sit out the Senior Bowl. He was medically cleared prior to the Combine and recently started sprinting. Although he won't be running in Indianapolis, Miller does plan to do perform all the drills at his pro day. He did lift at the Combine and posted an impressive 22 reps of 225 pounds. Miller remains the top-ranked senior wideout on my draft board. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
02/27/18 - 2018 NFL Combine: Key Medical Evaluations: Anthony Miller, WR, Memphis...After a relatively healthy final few seasons for the Tigers, Miller suffered a right foot injury in the bowl game, missing the Senior Bowl. Some around the league have expressed concern about the severity, which could have an impact on his draft grade. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
12/29/17 - 2017 ALL-AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM (COACHES): WR Anthony Miller, Memphis, Sr.,...Memphis' all-time leading receiver with 220 receptions for 3,340 receiving yards and 33 touchdowns, which are all program records...Miller is top-10 nationally this season in receptions per game (7.1), receiving yards (1,212) and receiving touchdowns (14)...Miller's 14 receiving touchdowns this season ties his own school record, which he set in 2016...He has five 100-yard receiving games this season and holds the program record with 16 total 100-yard receiving games...Caught a program single-game record four TD passes in this season's win at UConn...Miller stands among the top-10 scorers in program history with 36 total TD (33 receiving/3 rushing) for 216 total points, which is good for eight. - Memphis Football
11/27/17 - NOV 27 AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE HONOR ROLL: Anthony Miller, Sr., WR, Memphis, Memphis, Tenn.,...Had three receptions for 144 yards and a touchdown in a 70-13 win against ECU. - American Athletic Conference Football
11/21/17 - The SMU-Memphis match-up on Saturday featured a pair of outstanding wide receiver prospects with SMU redshirt junior WR Courtland Sutton (6-3, 218, 4.58, #16) and Memphis redshirt senior WR Anthony Miller (5-11, 190, 4.53, #3). Sutton was held to only one catch, but he made it count, working through the defensive back to stab the ball and dive for the end zone to complete a 35-yard score. On the other hand, Miller couldn't be contained, finishing with eight catches for 163 yards and two touchdowns. He doesn't have elite size or speed, but there are very few weaknesses to his game. Overall, Sutton will be favored by several NFL teams due to his size and athleticism, but Miller is the better wide receiver right now. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
