  2021 FIRST TEAM ALL-IVY LEAGUE (COACHES): Thomas Glover, Cornell (Sr., WR - Pasadena, Calif.),...In his first season at wide receiver, Glover posted one of the best seasons in school history with 55 catches for an Ivy-best 767 yards and four touchdowns. He also hauled in a pair of two-point conversions. Glover averaged 14.0 yards per catch and had three 100-yard receiving games, including 159 yards and a touchdown against VMI and 133 yards and a score vs Princeton, both nationally-ranked squads. He caught seven passes for 126 yards and a touchdown, as well as a two-point conversion, against Brown. Glover posted seven or more catches in five contests and finished his season ranked in the top 30 nationally in both receiving yards and receptions. - Cornell Football

  It was quarterback carrousel for Cornell on Friday night as Jameson Wang, Luke Duby and Richie Kenney each led touchdown drives as Big Red defeated Colgate 34-20. The trio combined for 18-of-22 passing for 238 yards and two touchdowns. The 34 points was a season high for Cornell (1-4). The win was Cornell's first on a Friday since defeating Manhattan Athletic Club on Nov. 18, 1892. Yes, 1892. Freshman Wang was inserted at quarterback late in the first quarter and tossed a 4-yard touchdown to tight end Matt Robbert with his first pass, then led a six-play, 75-yard drive for a second score, this on an 18-yard keeper.

Duby took off up the middle with the snap and scored a 34-yard touchdown, plowing through several defenders along the way as Big Red grabbed a 21-7 lead. Kenney threw a 40-yard rainbow to Curtis Raymond III in the end zone with Raymond making the catch while tightly covered. Logan Thut intercepted a tipped pass and returned it 82 yards for Cornell's only touchdown of the second half. The Big Red defense held Colgate to an average of 3.3 yards per carry, and 194 passing yards.   2019 ALL-IVY LEAGUE FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Jelani Taylor, Cornell (Sr., DB - Beecher, Mich.),...Taylor, who is a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, earned his first All-Ivy honor with his first-team selection. The senior co-captain ranked first on the team and second in the Ivy League with 76 tackles. He also led the squad in passes defended (14), interceptions (three) and forced fumbles (two). He ranked third in the conference in passes defended (14th nationally) and second in interceptions (47th nationally) and fumbles forced. Taylor forced at least one turnover in five Ivy games. In Ivy games only, the safety paced the conference in tackles (62, 8.9 per game) and fumbles forced (two), was second in interceptions (three) and third in passes defended (13).

The two-time first-team academic all-district pick added 2.0 tackles for loss, a fumble recovery for a touchdown and a two-point conversion breakup from his safety position and was named Ivy Defensive Player of the Week once. Taylor had a monster game at Harvard with 12 tackles, a half-tackle for loss, an interception and three pass breakups and returned a fumble 87 yards for a touchdown, the longest fumble return in school history, vs. Colgate. He was a hero against Brown, posting a game-high nine tackles, intercepting a pass and breaking up three others in a 37-35 win over Brown while also making a stop on a two-point conversion, getting a fourth down stop early in the second to turn the ball over on downs, and springing Eric Stoxstill-Diggs' 46-yard punt return for a touchdown with the key block on the return. - Cornell Football

  2019 ALL-IVY LEAGUE FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Harold Coles, Cornell (Sr., RB - Erie, Pa.),...Coles bumped up to the first team after capturing second team accolades as a running back last fall. He is ranked 25th nationally and second in the Ivy League in rushing yards per game (92.4 ypg.) while averaging 5.94 yards per carry in nine contests. His yards per carry number sits 17th nationally and paces the Ancient Eight. Coles had four 100-yard rushing games, including three in Ivy contests. The senior tied a career high with 141 yards on 16 carries at Ivy League co-champion Yale and ran for a 74-yard touchdown to cap a 15-carry, 111-yard effort in the win over No. 12 Dartmouth, the league's other co-champ. The two-time first-team academic all-district pick posted 122 yards on 21 carries with a pair of touchdowns in the season-ending 35-9 win over Columbia.   2019 ALL-IVY LEAGUE SECOND TEAM (COACHES): David Jones, Cornell (Sr., DB - Sugar Land, Texas),...For the second straight season, Jones earned a spot as a second-team cornerback. He tied for second on the team with 58 tackles and was sixth in the Ivy League with nine passes defended (two interceptions, seven pass breakups) to go along with 4.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble in 10 starts. Jones was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week after a season-opening win at Marist that saw him make five tackles, record 1.5 tackles for loss, an interception and three pass breakups. He posted a team-high seven tackles at Ivy champ Yale, had eight tackles with a sack and forced a fumble against No. 12 Princeton and posted six tackles with an interception in the win over No. 12 Dartmouth. Jones was credited with six stops and a pass breakup in the season finale win over Columbia. The three-time Ivy League Rookie of the Week placed second on the team in tackles (58) and tackles for loss (6.5), as well as first in sacks (4.5) and forced fumbles (two) in 10 games at linebacker. He was fifth in the Ancient Eight in fumbles forced, eighth in sacks and 19th in tackles for loss despite starting just three games. Stebbins stands fourth nationally in sacks among freshmen in the FCS.

He became the first Big Red rookie to register double figure tackles in a game since 2005 (Tim Bax with 10 at Dartmouth) with his 10-tackle, one-sack effort vs. Georgetown. He was also named Ivy League Rookie of the Week after posting seven tackles with 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble at Harvard and the following week after posting six tackles, including two for a loss and a sack, along with a forced fumble that was recovered and returned 87 yards for a touchdown vs. Colgate.   Harold Coles rushed for 129 yards and two TDs, including a 58-yard run on Cornell's second play from scrimmage, and the Big Red defeated Columbia 35-9 on Saturday. Despite a sub-.500 record, Cornell (4-6, 3-4 Ivy League) achieved a couple of significant milestones this season. The win gave Cornell possession of the Empire State Bowl and, coupled with Princeton's victory over Penn, solidified the Big Red's first upper-division finish in the Ivy League standings since 2006. Coles has 2,065 career rushing yards and became the eighth player in school history to surpass 2,000 yards. Thomas Glover, Delonte Harrell and Richie Kenney also scored rushing touchdowns for the Big Red. Ty Lenhart threw a 10-yard scoring pass to Josh Wainwright for Columbia.s only touchdown.   Richie Kenney threw for 267 yards and a touchdown, Harold Coles ran for 111 yards and a touchdown and Cornell stunned Dartmouth 20-17 on Saturday. Cornell (3-6, 2-4 Ivy League) snapped Dartmouth's 10-game winning streak. The Big Green hadn't suffered a defeat since Nov. 3 last year when Princeton beat them 14-9. Down 17-12, Kenney threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Owen Peters, then ran in the 2-point conversion. The score ended an eight-play, 75-yard drive that last 2 1/2 minutes. Dartmouth turned it over on downs on the ensuing drive, and after Cornell went three-and-out, the Big Red forced a turnover when David Jones intercepted Derek Kyler to end the game. Yale (8-1, 5-1) dropped into a first-place tie with Dartmouth. The Big Green, however, beat Yale 42-10 last month.   Nickolas Null booted a 41-yard field goal that shaved the left upright with nine seconds on the clock as Cornell turned back a resurgent Brown 37-35 on Saturday for its first Ivy League win of the season. Cornell (2-4, 1-2) led 20-12 at the break, but Brown's Omari Garry scored from the 1 on the opening drive after halftime and the teams traded touchdowns the rest of the period. The Bears (1-5, 0-3) fashioned two unanswered scoring drives in the final period -- a 9-yard pass from EJ Perry to Demitri Jackson and a 35-yard Dawson Goepferich field goal -- to grab a 35-34 lead with 4:17 remaining.
