In a battle of Ivy League unbeatens, Dartmouth got a stellar defensive effort coupled with a strong rushing attack to avenge last year's loss to Princeton in a 27-10 victory at Yankee Stadium. Quarterback Jared Gerbino ran for two touchdowns and defensive end Niko Lalos returned an interception 22 yards for another as the Big Green took sole possession of first place in the Ivy League standings. Dartmouth rose one spot to No. 12 while Princeton fell 10 spots to No. 19 in this week's AFCA FCS Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

North Dakota State received at 26 first-place votes following a dominant win over Western Illinois and remains the No. 1 team in the nation. James Madison collected a 54-16 win over then-No. 25 New Hampshire and checks in at No. 2. Weber State defeated then-No. 22 North Dakota for its third straight win over a ranked opponent and remains No. 3. There are two new members of the Top 5 this week as Montana comes in at No. 4 following a blowout win over Idaho while Northern Iowa checks in at No. 5 following at 17-9 win over Indiana State. - American Football Coaches Association
