  NOV 4 GLIAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tristan Reichelderfer, Ashland,...For the first time in 2019 and the second time in his career, Ashland University senior stud Tristan Reichelderfer has been named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week. As announced by the GLIAC on Monday (Nov. 4) morning, Reichelderfer earned the honor following a game on Saturday (Nov. 2) afternoon at Saginaw Valley State in which he tied the Ashland single-game record of 3 1/2 sacks originally set by College Football Hall of Famer Bill Royce at Wayne State on Oct. 2, 1993, and tied by James Prater Jr. against the same Cardinals on Nov. 11, 2017. In addition, Reichelderfer finished with a season-high 10 total tackles (six solo), a career-high 4½ tackles for loss and a forced fumble. Reichelderfer also earned GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 29, 2018.
