Outside linebacker Addison Gumbs has left Oregon State and is no longer with the Beavers football program. A source told The Oregonian/OregonLive that Gumbs, a fifth-year junior, withdrew from school this week. Gumbs earned his undergraduate degree in the fall and was taking classes this winter. Gumbs does not plan to transfer to another school. Gumbs is headed to Oakland to coach football under his father, Desmond, at Lincoln University. The 6-foot-3, 256-pound Gumbs hasn't played for Oregon State since the second game of the 2019 season, when he suffered a knee injury. Gumbs has periodically practiced with the team the past two years, but didn't play in a game. - The Oregonian
