  Boise State defensive back Robert Lewis was arrested early Friday morning and charged with driving under the influence. According to arrest records on the Ada County Sheriff's website, Lewis was arrested by Boise Police and booked into the Ada County Jail at 3:25 a.m. Lewis, 22, is a backup cornerback that saw action in 10 games and had two tackles last season as a redshirt sophomore.

Boise State released a short statement Friday morning that said, "Boise State is aware of the situation and will handle according to department policy." An incident report from Boise Police said officers stopped Lewis after he ran a red light at the intersection of Capital and Bannock at 2:10 a.m. Friday morning. It was at that point they "observed an odor of alcohol and other signs of possible impairment. - Idaho Press-Tribune
