  Reggie Pearson, a starting safety on Wisconsin's 10-win Rose Bowl team from two seasons ago, has signed a financial aid agreement with Texas Tech, according to an announcement Wednesday. Pearson left the Badgers because the team medical staff had not cleared him for any athletics activity since March 2020, his father recently told The Athletic. Reggie Pearson, a starting safety on Wisconsin's 10-win Rose Bowl team from two seasons ago, has signed a financial aid agreement to transfer to Texas Tech, the Tech athletics department announced Wednesday. Pearson was the Badgers' fourth-leading tackler in 2019 with 60 stops, as well as getting credit for 3 1/2 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and four passes defended. He was a redshirt freshman that season, starting at strong safety on a 10-4 team that lost to Oregon in the Rose Bowl. - Lubbock Avalanche Journal
