  Draft Scout by Conference

Former Auburn and Florida A&M offensive lineman Calvin Ashley is joining the Super Bowl champions. Ashley went undrafted in this weekend's NFL Draft but latched on as a priority free agent signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he announced on Twitter on Saturday evening. Ashley is the second player with Auburn ties to join Tampa Bay on Saturday, as the franchise selected linebacker K.J. Britt in the fifth round earlier in the day.

The former five-star offensive tackle who originally signed with Auburn in 2017, Ashley was the highest-rated player in the Tigers' ninth-ranked recruiting class that year. He is one of the 10 highest-rated high school signees in program history, but he never panned out after arriving on the Plains. He redshirted as a freshman in 2017 and then appeared in eight games during the 2018 campaign, including his first career start at right tackle against Mississippi State that year. - Birmingham News
