  Draft Scout by Conference

Just two days after being selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft, former Florida Atlantic tight end Harrison Bryant was named Palm Beach County's Amateur Athlete of the Year, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission announced Monday. Bryant was a fourth-round pick of the Cleveland Browns on Saturday and earned the John Mackey award, given to the nation's top tight end, after amassing 1,004 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He is the first player from a Group of Five conference to win the award. Bryant joins an illustrious list of winners that that includes former FAU star Devin Singletary, now a running back with the Buffalo Bills, and Rusty Smith, a former quarterback for the Tennessee Titans. - Palm Beach Post
