Post-Draft Outlook:
COULD SURPRISE: Furman cornerback William Middleton will try to get in the mix immediately. He could challenge Chris Houston, Brent Grimes and Von Hutchins, who is returning from a foot injury. Middleton can be a labeled a "sleeper" considering he wasn't invited to the NFL Combine, but his character and 4.46 40-yard dash time help boost his value. A closer look at the Falcons' picks: Round 5/138 -- William Middleton, CB, 5-11, 186, Furman...A three-year starter and team captain as a senior who was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, but ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds during his campus workout in March. Middleton graduated from Furman with a degree in biology and has post-football plans to attend medical school. - by The Sports Xchange
