2021 ALL-CAA FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Coby Tippett, Rhode Island, PR, Sr.,...Tippett made the all-conference team for the third straight season, this time earning honors at two different positions. He was the first-team punt returner after leading the CAA and finishing sixth in the country with 12.6 yards per return. He had two returns of 50 yards or longer, including a 50-yarder that proved to be the game winner at UAlbany, which earned him CAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week honors. Ti ppett's 226 return yards were the fifth-highest single-season total in program history. - Rhode Island Football

2021 ALL-CAA FOOTBALL THIRD TEAM (COACHES): Coby Tippett, Rhode Island, S, Sr.,...Tippett also earned third-team honors as a safety, the third time he has been on the All-CAA Football squad on defense. SEPT 13 CAA FOOTBALL CO-SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Coby Tippett, Sr., S/PR, Rhode Island (Sharon, Mass./Cheshire Academy),...Tippett returned a punt 50 yards for a touchdown early in the second quarter that proved to be the difference in Rhode Isl and's 16-14 triumph at UAlbany. It was the first punt return for a TD by the Rams since 2018. Tippett averaged 18.0 yards per return and also made two tackles at safety. - Colonial Athletic Association Football

2019 ALL-COLONIAL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION THIRD TEAM (COACHES): Coby Tippett, Towson, S, Jr., Sharon, Mass.,...Tippett is an all-league player in his first year as a starter for Towson. His junior year saw him tie for third in the conference with five inter ceptions and was tied for fourth in the CAA with 14 passes defended off nine pass-breakups. The safety also tallied up 70 total tackles, fourth on the team, including 46 solo. - Towson Football
