Obinna Eze, Texas Christian, Player News

Obinna Eze is a graduate transfer from Memphis where he started every game the last two seasons. Eze was a highly recruited four-star prospect with offers to Alabma, Auburn and Florida, and it's safe to say that Eze is a big guy, standing at 6-8, 315 pounds. In 2020, the TCU offensive line allowed quarterback Max Duggan to be sacked 23 times, and Eze might just be the answer to the problem. If Eze can stop opposing rushers from getting into the backfield, Duggan will have more time to throw the ball downfield. - Dallas Morning News

TCU football landed a big-time graduate transfer on Friday afternoon. Memphis left tackle Obinna Eze announced his intentions to join the Horned Frogs in a social media post, writing: "I'll be continuing my career at TCU and I'm excited for new opportunities." Eze has started 25 straight games at left tackle for Memphis. He graduated in December and has two years of eligibility remaining. TCU could have a void to fill at that spot depending on whether T.J. Storment returns next season. - Fort Worth Star
