  2021 ALL-MAC SECOND TEAM (COACHES): Offensive Lineman - Curtis Blackwell, Ball State,...Blackwell served as a catalyst for the offensive line this season. Behind Blackwell, Ball State ran for 1,611 yards and 16 touchdowns during the regular season. The offense as a whole averaged nearly 336 yards per game and had a turnover margin of 0.83, good for ninth-best in the country. The Uniondale, Ind. native was key in securing positive yardage for the Cardinals as he guided the line to allow only 3.8 tackles-for-loss per game, which was the 13th-best mark in the nation. Blackwell and Co. surrendered just 1.8 sacks per contest, which was among the lowest in the MAC. - Ball State Football

  2020 ALL-MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM (COACHES): Offensive Lineman - Curtis Blackwell, Ball State,...Blackwell earned All-MAC honors for the second straight year despite a position change on the offensive line. The senior from Uniondale, Indiana, shifted from right guard to right tackle and helped pave the way for the Cardinals' balanced offense.
