  09/05/20 - WR Josh AlirSr/2022, Kentucky, 5-11, 191 (DS#83 WR) + More +

No Kentucky fan or player needs reminded that the Wildcat wide receivers had to take a back seat last season once the offense shifted to an almost exclusively rushing attack with Lynn Bowden at quarterback. Still, Josh Ali offered one of the few highlights of the second half from the receivers with a stellar Belk Bowl showing with four catches for 52 yards and the game-winning touchdown. Early indications suggest Ali has built on that performance to position himself for a standout senior season. "He's gotten faster, stronger," Gran said. "...He just really looks quick. Coach (Jovon Bouknight) has really worked with him on his releases. He's doing a great job of getting off the ball and being more physical. I love where he's at. He's being a leader out there. He certainly is the No. 1 guy out there right now at the receiver position." - Courier Journal
