  03/08/20 - TE Noah DavisrSr/2022, Cincinnati, 6-4, 244 (DS#999 TE) + More +

Tight end Josiah Deguara is another exiting offensive mainstay UC must replace, though there appears to be plenty of options for coordinator and position coach Mike Denbrock to work with. Davis, a former St. Xavier standout, has a prototypical look at 6-foot-4, 240 pounds and enters healthy after spending significant time sidelined by injuries during his Michigan State career. Among those at the position: Bruno Labelle (experienced senior; great blocker), junior Leonard Taylor (has shown explosive play ability in practice his first two seasons) and sophomore Josh Whyle (plenty of talent, must get/stay healthy). "As a whole that group is still really strong," Fickell said. "I know we lost Josiah, who obviously was kind of the heart and soul of that group, but to have Bruno back, to have Leonard Taylor where he is right now and to add a few new guys...it still is a really good looking group. A really intelligent group." - Cincinnati Enquirer

  10/18/19 - TE Noah DavisrSr/2022, Cincinnati, 6-4, 244 (DS#999 TE) + More +

Another Michigan State football player has entered the transfer portal: tight end Noah Davis. The school announced the move Friday. Davis missed all of last season with a knee injury. He's played in four games this season but does not have a catch. It's the third time this week the Spartans have confirmed a player entering the transfer portal. Receivers Cam Chambers and Weston Bridges have as well. Running backs La'Darius Jefferson and Connor Heyward have also entered the portal this season, along with linebacker Brandon Bouyer-Randle. The Spartans are off this weekend and return to the field Oct. 26 against Penn State. - AP College Football
