The Eagles selected wide receiver Jalen Reagor out of TCU with the No. 21 overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The son of former Eagles defensive tackle Montae Reagor, who had a nine-year NFL career, Jalen is a two-time All-Big 12 selection. In his TCU career, he caught 148 receptions for 2,248 yards and 22 touchdowns in 39 games (25 starts). He finished No. 2 on TCU's all-time list in receiving touchdowns and sixth in receiving yards in just three seasons. A true junior, the 5-11, 206-pound Reagor just turned 21 years old in January. A track star in high school, Reagor has enough speed running a 4.47 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine. Where does he fit in the offense? He can line up on the outside, as a motion receiver, and in the slot. He can be utilized on jet sweeps and orbit motions. He can take the top off a defense and generate yards after the catch. - PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has known what type of game-changing player TCU's Jalen Reagor has been for years. Jones remembers Reagor's highlight-reel play on a 73-yard touchdown run in high school when Waxahachie took on Highland Park in 2016. That's one of the first things Jones mentioned when the Dallas Cowboys held a virtual interview with Reagor on Thursday. Those electric plays continued for Reagor during his college career at TCU. Nobody will soon forget his remarkable TD run on a jail-break screen at Baylor in 2018, or his 73-yard punt return for a TD against Kansas last season after dropping the ball.

With that being said, it's no surprise to see Reagor on the Cowboys' draft radar as teams are always seeking playmakers on offense. And Reagor fits that label as well as anyone. Along with Jones, other notable Cowboys personnel on the call with Reagor included executive vice president Stephen Jones, vice president of player personnel Will McClay, head coach Mike McCarthy, offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, special-teams coordinator John Fassel and area scout Sam Garza. Fassel asked Reagor about a favorite return man growing up. "Devin Hester," Reagor said, "Because I watched him do it in the Super Bowl against my dad." Speaking of his father's influence, Jalen told the Cowboys' brass: "If you plan on having a long career, you've got to do things the right way. My dad did things the right way. That's why he played in the league for nine years. If you're there for a long time, you're doing something right." Reagor is viewed as a possible first-round talent and the Cowboys have the 17th overall pick. It's unlikely Reagor would be available for the Cowboys when they pick in the second round (51st overall). - Fort Worth Star

TCU's Jalen Reagor is among the prospects who will be participating in the NFL Draft virtually later this month. Reagor received an invitation to take part in some sort of digital form as he watches the draft with close family and friends at his grandma's home in Waxahachie. The NFL Draft remains scheduled to take place and be televised April 23-25, but public events in Las Vegas have been canceled amid the coronavirus pandemic. The NFL is incorporating top prospects such as Reagor to be part of the coverage remotely. More than 50 players are expected to be present via video and social media. TCU defensive tackle Ross Blacklock and cornerback Jeff Gladney are other highly-touted players who could participate virtually. - Fort Worth Star

TCU star wide receiver Jalen Reagor is turning professional, ending his college career with one year of eligibility left. Reagor posted the news of being an early entrant in the 2020 NFL Draft on social media on Monday, three days following TCU's 20-17 over West Virginia on Friday. Reagor is expected to sign with agent Jeff Nalley of Select Sports Group in the near future, sources said. He personally thanked Horned Frogs coach Gary Patterson and wide receivers coach Malcolm Kelly, and said his dream has always been the NFL after watching his dad, former NFL defensive lineman Montae Reagor, win a Super Bowl championship with the Indianapolis Colts in 2006. - Fort Worth Star-Telegram

After Jalen Reagor had 72 catches for 1,061 yards with touchdowns in seven consecutive games last year, defenses have limited the TCU receiver to 33 catches for 452 yards and four scores this season. Asked about Reagor’s inability to break out again this season, Patterson reminded people of what he said early in the season: “You have to have somebody on the other side.” - AP College Football

Freshman Max Duggan threw two touchdown passes, including a tiebreaking 44-yarder to Jalen Reagor the first play after one of Sam Ehlinger's career-high four interceptions, and TCU beat No. 15 Texas 37-27 on Saturday. Duggan finished with a career-best 273 yards passing against the Big 12's worse pass defense and ran for a clinching score late as the Horned Frogs (4-3, 2-2 Big 12) bounced back from consecutive conference road losses. Duggan led TCU with 72 yards rushing.

Ehlinger's first three interceptions led to 13 TCU points, and coach Tom Herman gave the Horned Frogs three more when he called timeout just before freshman Griffin Kell missed a 52-yard field goal try on the final play of the first half. Kell drilled the second chance. The Longhorns (5-3, 3-2) lost a third straight game in Fort Worth for the first time since the 1940s. It was the fifth win in six tries against Texas for the Horned Frogs, which includes their first four-game winning streak in the series since the 1930s. After Texas pulled within three with 6:50 remaining, Duggan converted two long third downs with completions, including a 36-yarder to Taye Barber with a defender right in his face to set up his 11-yard TD run. - TCU/AP College Football
