  11/26/20 - SS Jordan HapplerSr/2022, Oregon, 6-0, 202 (DS#50 SS) + More +

Oregon safety Jordan Happle was named the Pac-12 defensive player of the week after leading the Ducks with 11 tackles and returning an interception for a 58-yard touchdown on the final play of the first half. The Boise State graduate transfer, who started against UCLA because Nick Pickett had to sit out the first half due to a targeting penalty at Washington State, is tied with Pickett for the team lead in tackles (17) this season. "For Jordan to jump in here and do what he's done, he's a remarkable young man and he's been resilient in so many ways," said Avalos, who coached Happle at Boise State. "It's never an easy transition, but he's done an unbelievable job, played multiple positions for us back there where we've absolutely just needed it." - Register Guard

  10/09/20 - SS Jordan HapplerSr/2022, Oregon, 6-0, 202 (DS#50 SS) + More +

Former Boise State safety Jordan Happle is heading home to Oregon to finish his college football career. Happle is from Portland, Oregon, and on Monday, he announced on Twitter that he's heading to the University of Oregon, where he'll be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer. Boise State confirmed on Sept. 24 that Happle was in the transfer portal. He was limited to five games last fall due to injuries, but he was expected to compete for a starting spot this season in the Broncos' secondary, which already has to replace safeties Kekoa Nawahine (graduation) and D'Andre Pierce, who transferred to Arizona State. - Idaho Statesman
