2020 NFL COMBINE INVITE: Daniel Bituli, OLB, Tennessee,...Bituli became only the second Vol to lead Tennessee in tackles for three straight seasons, wrapping up his 44-game career with 266 stops. A 2019 All-SEC Second Team selection, he collected double- digit tackles in three games as a senior and was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week twice. He had 19 tackles versus Kentucky and helped spark the Vols' six-game winning streak with a blocked punt and touchdown against South Carolina. The Nashville pr oduct, by way of the Congo, had a 23-tackle game against Georgia Tech as a sophomore in 2017. - Tennessee Football

2019 ALL-SEC SECOND TEAM (COACHES): LB Daniel Bituli, Tennessee,...The quarterback of Tennessee's defense from his middle linebacker position, Bituli led the Big Orange in tackles for the third consecutive season with 82, making him just the second playe r in program history to lead the team in tackles for three years in a row. The senior was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week twice and was a PFF College National Team of the Week selection two times, as well.Bituli had three games with dou ble-digit tackles, including an incredible 19-tackle effort in a road win at Kentucky on Nov. 9, which was the most tackles by an SEC player in a conference game this season. His 8.2 tackles per game ranks fourth in the conference. The Nashville native h ad 4.5 tackles for loss and set a career high with three sacks. He also blocked a punt and recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown in UT's win over South Carolina on Oct. 26. This is the first time Bituli has earned SEC postseason honors in his care er. - Tennessee Football

NOV 11 SEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Daniel Bituli, LB, Tennessee,...Led Tennessee with a season-high and SEC-best 19 tackles in a 17-13 victory at Kentucky...No stop was bigger than Bituli's tackle on fourth-and-goal from the 2-yard line when he stu ffed Kentucky quarterback Lynn Bowden's quarterback option run with just over a one-minute remaining to secure the victory...He finished with 10 solo tackles and added a half-tackle for loss as the Vols erased a 13-0 first-quarter deficit and held the Wi ldcats scoreless in the second half at Kroger Field...His 19-tackle performance is tied for the fifth-highest total by a Power 5 player in 2019. - SEC Football
