As I wrote about earlier today, the perfect selection for Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts would be Coby Fleener out of Stanford.
Luck and Fleener comnined for 18 Touchdowns at Stanford and were on a roll last year, with Coby catching 10, when Fleener came up lame and played out the season on one wheel. Fleener showed a ton of heart and determination in playing out the season and not missing a game, although many players would have sat out. This is the type of player that NFL teams covet and with the connection to Andrew Luck, this pick makes a lot of sense.
So, there you have it, Luck to Fleener will get a chance to live and grow in the NFL. I wonder who will be driving to practices? My money is on Fleener!
